Recycled glass replaces sand and coal or metallurgic slag for abrasive sand blasting

Our glass media abrasive is the safest, most economical blasting abrasive available. Recycled glass abrasive is environmentally friendly, increases productivity, and is highly resistant to rustback. Unlike other blasting media, crushed glass does not contain silica or heavy metals, eliminating the health risk of airborne carcinigens. Glass abrasive produces less dust than sand and slag, with no significant chlorides or salt.
